The Abingdon Studios Project Space (ASPS) is a versatile, exhibition and events space situated in the heart of Blackpool Town Centre. While it serves as a curated venue for our in-house and visiting artists, ASPS is also available for private hire throughout the calendar year—offering a platform to showcase work, host events, and engage new audiences.
Whether you’re an individual artist, collective, charity, creative business, local authority, or corporate organisation, ASPS is ideal for:
1. Solo and Group Exhibitions
2.Workshops and Artist Talks
3. Pop-up Events and Markets
4. Residencies and Project Development in partnership
5. Photography Shoots
6. Community Engagement Sessions
7. Networking Events and small Team Away Days. Facilitation can also be offered with a qualified coach.
8. Meetings and Small Conferences
9. Installation Testing and R&D
10. As a safe space and quiet container for new thinking and mapping out a self directed goal or career journey.
ASPS is available for hire from a minimum of 1 day to a maximum of 1 month, with access negotiated to suit your needs. Each hire includes basic utilities, promotional support (where applicable), and an agreement outlining responsibilities.
Current Rates:
1 Day – £60 (must be booked a minimum one week in advance)
1 Week – £140
1 Month – £500
Discounted rates may be available for charitable organisations and long-term partners. Bespoke pricing available for multi-use or repeated bookings.
