Jamieson’s practice is based on developing structures that allow unseen stories to be heard and unexpected connections to be made to both people and place in a way that creates new value. She is currently researching public information that influences daily life that is hidden in plain sight. Her work uses time intensive craft techniques or produces works of scale that allows her to spend time with the information she collects.

Creating New Values: Arts Council Developing Your Creative Practice funding to undertake a 6-month research and development period to creatively explore and contrast data, policy and information that are hidden in plain sight / ‘That’s Why I Walk’ : a text work acquired in 2021 by the Museum of Homelessness, London and previously shown in Grayson Perry’s room at the RA’s 250th anniversary show / The Travelling Letter Exchange: a work commissioned by Time to Read, NW to mark the 200th anniversary of Jane Austin’s death (funded by Arts Council England) / 52 Flags: a textile installation made in response to a 9 month residency with the Jinnah Centre, Burnley and Super Slow Way / Postcards to Preston: 1956 miniature art works sent out to houses in Preston that were listed on the Harris WW1 roll of honour followed by an exhibition at the Harris, Preston.
